hello guys today we are back and we are going to be doing a we are going to be making a website with sites.google.com um specifically my um a website for for my brother and my hot cocoa stand we do on the weekend cool okay so we're gonna use this dog walker template okay and what is your website called uh avila's hot cocoa stand [Music] okay and then we delete name something like that and then we delete those yeah we leave that in those bars delete this in these bars okay enough parts we don't need bars okay what about the round you like the round outline yeah lies around that line and we need to change the background okay so we're gonna pick an image can we need to use um no not pick an image oh those look nice actually i i wanna [Music] upload your own picture later maybe oh that looks good what do you think yeah we didn't make that coffee yeah we should probably take our own picture huh yeah actually we could keep it like that it looks good okay i like that and then about us maybe and then do you want to do a little what do you think okay see i want to do um let's see it's hard to think of what to do yeah about that two guys saving money for a nintendo switch yeah two kids two kids saving for nintendo's no can we just do two kids saving money for an attendance and do cages seven seven months for an attendance two kids just saving my friends okay is that our whole that's our then we say hot coco and that's kind of good and then if you get an email let you know okay okay yep all right and then what else what else we got well so we got um we need the mutton button that says buy okay and maybe we want to do one of these things and then put a picture of like the thing yeah okay so what is it um what is it that you're selling cocoa okay so hot cocoa hot cocoa okay and then what what is the description of it delicious tasty [Music] hot cocoa okay great and then we should put another picture here no don't what's up well um i want to have a picture of our actual maid okay to be about okay so let's let's make a new account for this so avila's hot cocoa stand yeah okay so we've got um we want to go to products and we want to create a new product called hot cocoa and then right and then what is again we need an image here but that's fine um wait is that image gonna be the background and then it's the units is cups right [Music] because you're you're you're or like mugs or what is this cups okay um and each cup that you ship is gonna have it's just gonna be one cup right and then three dollars four dollars three dollars three dollars okay three dollars one time and that's it huh us dollars and all right save product and then we're gonna say create payment link okay so we need to collect their address their billing and shipping address because we only want to be able to ship it to where united states probably no i mean actually we could ship it but it would take longer which means um the food could go bad yeah okay well john's journey okay [Music] so um we're gonna let them adjust the quantity so that if they want more than one they can pick how many they want right there and then the confirmation page do we want them to go to a special page here where it's like thanks so much for your order yeah okay so then we will say redirect us back to logee dot rock slash um hot [Music] cocoa thanks or something yeah do that okay but for we can't create links because that's not a thing it is well it will be so now now we add the button right button the name is by the link is this payment link insert ooh can we move that there we go that looks nice yeah i like it okay and then should we change the theme a little bit like this gray i wonder if we can change the colors and stuff like oh yeah you can interesting let's see what is this font style is light oh interesting which one do you like heavy classic or light um i like i like classic it looks a little bit more fancy okay and then do you want to pick a color here like maybe we should try to pick a brown oh gosh look at how it it look at a lot of time yeah i was thinking how do we pick a brown that's like well you know what we should do oh that's pretty good what do you think is that like a hot cocoa looking color yeah i like it okay that kind of looks like a thomas though it looks like what it kind of looks like it's normal but it's good okay is it dark enough or should we make it a little darker yeah [Music] okay and then do we want um what else do we want to happen here i guess maybe we should put the price on here buy for like three dollars for five by four three dollars can we also put dot zero zero sure nice that looks good okay and then we can say what else do we need what do we what else do we need to do here um i guess we also need another page right we need one more page so we're going to add a page for like thanks and what does advanced thing do custom path hot actually no yeah let's just save that done and then this is thanks and we'll say like thanks for your order dad no it says gonna go to a special page didn't it then the payment link would say it would go to a special page well it's gonna come to we'll have to figure out how to how to get there um but we don't want it to show up in the navigation so how do we remove that hide from navigation wow look at that so easy okay um so easy that's it okay so then can we preview this like how do we try it out oh that looks like it's that's it so we click preview um and i guess we want oh three yeah here we want to preview the other page though so let's preview this page preview all right a villa's hot cocoa stand just two kids saving money for a nintendo switch and then you click on buy and boom it redirects you to stripe checkout so cool all right so now i think we need a couple more things number one inside of stripe we can edit our branding but if we're i think we might want to look for a new color like i don't i'm not sure this color is perfect so if we go to like colors or something um and search for uh hot cocoa or something like that like how do we generate um let's go let's go boom uh colorblind sunglasses uh press the space bar to generate new color so like we oh yeah here explore search okay uh chocolate because i think chocolate is gonna have certain color yeah here we go here we go that's nice that's a nice palette right there seal brown so then you just copy this color this can be like your brand color right so then we go back to our theme and when we edit this color we can paste in that exact color and it looks so crisp huh yeah okay but then this is cool too because from stripe we can go into our settings into our branding and then we can set our accent color [Music] to that brown oh wait that's your t-shirt do we want that to be i know it's just it's t-shirt is just an example but we could make our accent color one of these ones like sage or something or i don't know like or maybe we should make sage the the brand color and then brown is the accent color or what do you think yeah you like that okay um and then that's how it'll look in the customer portal and the hosted invoices page and the invoice okay cool so i will actually say t-shirt it's not gonna say t-shirt no this is just testing out the colors and like how the colors look oh that that's what yeah so we probably also want like an icon and a logo so those show up um see look at that boom it's beautiful um can we turn that into like a coffee cup until like a logo of like coffee yeah maybe we should draw a coffee cup oh yeah if you want to draw your own coffee cup like um or we could just use the you want to get the ipad yeah okay all right so you're going to draw a logo for our thing okay we're using the procreate if you're wondering using procreate let's try studio pencil okay is there way to make it look like are you nice does that okay you yep okay [Music] okay this looks like cough cup yep and then we need to find out how to top it yeah or fill it in or something with your brown maybe how do you like make her look 3d-ish oh kind of like this yeah like that [Music] you do you it me that side here say edit shape and then try to like drag it around oh yeah there okay then tap okay i think it looks great okay then you want to fill it with hot chocolate so why don't you use the same exact brown from your colors here okay so 5 8 2 f 0 e okay so that should give you the exact brown and then it's the same exact brand yeah boom i like it what do you think i think we need [Music] and then do you want to put this sage green make the cup this sage green um i think i want to make the cup have like a pattern oh okay cool do you want to draw with a pencil and is it what color do you want to use um is there a way to make this not solid for coloring i mean like make it look cooler basically actually i think we should use like a golden cup for the cup cup or maybe uh actually let's get a gray can you find um can you search for a silver like this magnolia color or like i kind of like it let's see oh how about this one quicksilver yeah quicksilver a2 a7 a5 okay enter kinda looks like that okay oh did this pencil okay there you go [Music] no it's it's on your side it doesn't seem like it's working oh gosh let's make it bigger no okay you made me do something sorry here um and then you want this on the handle too huh yeah okay nice job is that the whole thing no not do i go back history is that it i've lost it here the other thing you can do is you can add text instead of typing it like that watch um from up here i think you can say whoa add text and then just type in a [Music] and then bring it down and then you can like do stuff to it i think like here you can pick a different font so if you want it to look like i've made it bigger okay and then do you want to use a different font like [Music] i don't know [Music] that's pretty cool [Music] okay okay it kind of looks like the uh angel's a um does it say with that stuff around it no you gotta coyote brown okay coyote brown yeah so so um that way yeah so now if you have your yeah so over here we want to pick um it's 936 6639 93639 enter no that's not that's 9355. oh whoops nine three six six three five six three nine enter what do you think yeah like it okay so then we say like or not that's the mean oh i like it look at that it matches perfectly it's like the cup is floating there what do you think save changes i can't i know but the icon we're using the logo instead of icons see use logo instead of icon right yeah is it okay yeah yeah yeah that's okay okay cool um all right so then we come back over here oops cancel come back over here and uh let's see i guess go back close so can we change it looking like a google sites logo to uh to my hot cocoa this thingy um i don't know let's see can you change oh logo here we go oh yeah favicon that's it yeah favicon lets you set your own custom favicon all right so we uploaded the logo the alt text is a villas hot cocoa stand okay and then for the favicon we have to have a special kind of favicon image let's see if it'll figure it out for us let's see if it'll do it just for us it might fail oh no i think it's going to work cool all right so then viewer tools custom domains okay start setup select a domain from google domains oops next uh this is going to be logee.rocks and then should we call it coco coco.logy that rocks no let's do it i i i was gonna call it was villa's hot cocoa stand i love that rocks well that's a it's a little bit long we want to make it short maybe just like hc hc for hot chocolate or hot cocoa no no um is there any other way to say um are there any ways to say hot cocoa or hot chocolate without using bars but not long [Music] um well you could say a hcs a villa's hot cocoa stand like abbreviation or you want to just do coco coco i coco stand just coco stand coco stand.logie.rocks yeah coco okay um but um if we will we'll have to get one done yeah we'll have to get everyone used to it you're right okay so then analytics uh sure i don't know no announcement banner uh no we don't have announcement banner navigation is fine and okay so then if we preview it now what does it look like a villa's hot cocoa stand and you got your logo up there and now you can say buy for three dollars and it redirects you over here and then go back to the cocoa stand okay and then if you want you could say like i actually want to order three cups of hot cocoa delicious tasty hot nine dollars yeah for three cups right and then we can say like test at example.com and they're sending it to test one two three main street in sure san francisco california it's a place yeah and then one two three is a is a place one two three main street apparently okay and then we say pay are you actually going to pay us nine dollars no it's this is test money oh and we're redirected back to hot cocoa.thanks but we actually want it to be like hot cocoa dot logi dot rocks dot slash thanks i think no it's hot it's hot it's coco stand is it coco stand yes coco stan remember oh we didn't we never published though so let's publish let's publish it but is there a way to update that photo yes do you what do you want to put there um actually do we have to have that photo there we don't have to we can just remove it if you want yeah oh oh no oh gosh okay sorry i deleted the whole section just needed to delete that part and then should we try moving this like into the left or yeah like that to the middle yep like that middle okay i like middle oh can we background it what do you mean background it see hit coco stand.logie.rocks okay publish all right so it'll take a little while but eventually it'll show here right okay so we got the ipad working got the ipad working we got the logo made and now we are editing the payment link so that it brings us back to the expected page here and the confirmation page thing okay coco stand.logie.thanks update link update okay now we got to wait 48 hours well up to 48 hours but the domain because we're using google dns the domain propagation should be pretty quick it's not going to be instant but it should be pretty quick pretty quick okay man someone could buy 99 yeah um i think we should level that down to 20. i mean i think you can send 99 right all right all right all right i'll be patient but i guess we could go here then and see it live nice five for three dollars booyah nice okay and then we end up here and then and if you look down it says powered by stripes yep um i want 24 hot cupcakes 24 hot cocoas coming right up update 72 dollars but we actually need a toy for our customers i know i know i know wait did you update it's four well when we go to production when we switch to live mode which we have to set up we have to like finish activating your stripe account before we can go to live mode because um then we can take real money okay rather than just test money yep so we gotta switch that up are we gonna do that in the video no we're gonna do that off off camera okay okay so i think that's i think we should wrap it up what do you think yep cool so um we could videotape that but we're not going to yeah another time we'll take
