# cjav.dev Developer Portal

Developer resources for cjav.dev: a public JSON content API, an OpenAPI spec,
an MCP server, and agent-friendly content endpoints. No API key or
authentication required.

## Quickstart

The content API is public — just curl it:

List responses are JSON envelopes: `{ "data": [...], "meta": { "current_page",
"total_pages", "total_count", "per_page" } }`. Pass `?page=N` to paginate.

- **Content API** (no auth):
  - `GET /api/v1/articles` and `GET /api/v1/articles/:slug` — written articles;
    the show endpoint includes the full markdown `body`
  - `GET /api/v1/videos` and `GET /api/v1/videos/:slug` — YouTube screencasts
    with watch/embed/thumbnail URLs
  - `GET /api/v1/podcasts` and `GET /api/v1/podcasts/:slug` — podcast episodes
    with share/embed URLs
- **Agent feedback** (`POST /agent_feedbacks`, no auth): submit feedback about
  this site as JSON — see [llms.txt](https://www.cjav.dev/llms.txt) for an example.
- **Tip jar** (`GET /tip/crypto`, `GET /tip/spt`, `GET /tip/health`): Stripe
  Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) endpoints. Returns `402` with a payment
  challenge; retry with `Authorization: Payment <credential>`.

## Error Format

API errors are structured JSON with a machine-readable code, a human-readable
message, and a resolution hint:

Unknown `/api/*` paths return `404` JSON.

## MCP Server

cjav.dev exposes a public, **read-only** (no-auth) Model Context Protocol
server for the same content. All tools are read-only and non-destructive —
they only query already-published content:

- **SSE endpoint**: `https://www.cjav.dev/mcp/sse`
- **Messages endpoint**: `https://www.cjav.dev/mcp/messages`
- **Tools**: `articles_list`, `article_get` (full markdown body by slug),
  `videos_list`, `podcasts_list`
- **Resources**: `articles`, `videos`, `podcasts` (recent published content as JSON)
